S.u.S.E. Linux - vienas populiariausiu Europoje. Gimta kalba - vokiečiu, išversta i anglu, prancuzu, italu, ispanu. SuSE kompanija yra viena iš XFree86 (grafines Linux sistemos) X-serveriu kureju. Nauju video plokščiu palaikymas pirma atsiranda S.u.S.E. produktuose ir tik veliau - XFree86 ir kitu produktu sudetyje. Šiame produkte yra apie 1000 programiniu paketu ir gera administravimo programa - S.u.S.E. turi apie 10 langiniu menedžeriu, naujas KDE, Gnome versijas, OpenOffice.org ofiso paketą, personalini organizatoriu ir elektroninio pašto programą Evolution 2.0 (su galimybe prisijungti prie Microsoft Exchange serveriu), grafinius redaktorius GIMP 2.2 ir Inkscape, web dizaino sistemą Nvu, Opera ir Firefox naršykles, BitTorrent klientą ir kt. Live CD/DVD versijose, operacines sistemos nereikia instaliuoti - pasileidžia tiesiai iš kompaktinio disko.
